Here comes the English test this Thursday. Every student including me is busy with preparing for the test. And the following items are the ways that I study for English test.
First of all, it is usually acknowledged that the vocabulary is with respect to the score of the English test. Therefore, I recite the words every day. At first, it was quite difficult for me, an English beginner, to remember all these words. However, after my hard working, I've already learned it and made over for several times right now.
Moreover, on no account can we deny the importance of the ability of listening and speaking. I try my best to understand what our foreign teacher means and talk to him in order to improve my oral English.
Finally,browsing my notebook, I review every language point our teacher mentioned in class.
I believe that all these preparings would enable me to get an A in the exam, though I'm a little bit nervous now. And at the same time, hope everyone can get satisfied results!

I Study for English Test This Way
During recent years, the craze for learning English has been prevailing among students because the globalization greatly stimulates their passion for English learning.
There are various ways to learn English, such as reading English newspapers and novels, listening to English songs and watching English movies.
Of all these methods, I prefer listening to English songs. I can improve my comprehension and pronunciation and, also, learn a couple of new words and structures.
First and foremost, I think most of us enjoy listening to songs much more than reading novels. This is because songs have different tunes but novels don't, and the beautiful and rhythmic melodies formed by tunes can leave memorable impressions upon us. So we can remember the lyrics much more easily by singing, compared with reciting.
Moreover, we can learn plenty of new words when listening to English songs. Isn't it much more interesting than reciting the dictionaries? Take out the unknown or unfamiliar words. Search the Internet for more collocations and associations with those words. Make our own sentences with them. Listen to the song again and sing along if we're in the mood. We can do that while reading along and then without the written lyrics, trying to see if we can understand everything we hear. In order to learn a song whose lyrics are hard to sing at a very fast speed, I usually listen and practice from time to time, and finally I will unconsciously find that not only do I manage to sing the song well, my spoken English has been improved as well. Actually, we can use this approach with all kind of listening material. We can practice with narrated stories or conversations, interviews. Of course, we will need the scripts and the recorded audio material. Fortunately, we can easily get hold of the lyrics of almost any song, or the scripts of any movie or a show online.
Last but not least, I do think listening to English songs is the most convenient way to learn English, because it is more relaxing than reading English novels. In addition, we only need to use our ears when listening, but when watching we should use both our eyes and ears.
So, why don't we choose a way that is both fun and easier to learn English?
