The Browns are the Smiths' neighbours
．Mr.Brown's name is John.But when his neighbours talks about him,they call him“Mr.Going-to-do”.Do you know why?Mr.Brown always says he is going to do something,but never does it.
Every Saturday Mr.Brown goes to the Smiths' back door and talks to Mr.Smith.“I'm going to clean my house today,”he says,or“I'm going to wash my car tomorrow.” or “The trees in front of my house are too big.I'm going to cut them down next week.”
Mr.Smith usually says“Are you,John?” He knows his neighbour isn't going to clean his house,or wash his car,or cut down any trees.Then he says,“Well,excuse me,John.I'm going to do some work in the house.” And so he does.
Mr.and Mrs.Smith often say to their only child Dick,“Are you going to do something?Then do it.Don't be another ‘Mr.Going-to-do’”.
《打算去做先生》
布朗一家是史密斯一家的邻居.布朗先生叫约翰,但是当他的邻居谈论到他的时候总喜欢叫他“Mr.Going-to-do”（“打算去做先生”）.你知道这是为什么吗?布朗先生总是喜欢说,他打算去做什么,但是事实上他冲来也没有去做过!
每周六,布朗先生都喜欢去史密斯家的后门和史密斯先生聊天.“我打算把房子大扫除一下,”他说,“明天我要去把我的汽车洗一下!”或者说,“我们家房子前面的树太大了,下星期我要去把它们砍掉!”
史密斯先生经常问：“是吗?约翰!”他知道他的邻居并不会去打扫他的房子,洗车,或者是砍树 !然后他说,“好的,请原谅,约翰!我要回去做事了.”然后他就进屋子去忙了.
史密斯先生和史密斯太太经常教育他们的儿子迪克：“你打算做什么事吗?如果有,你就去做,不要去做另外的一个‘Mr.Going-to-do’（‘打算去做先生’）”.
别做下一位拖拉先生
Going to do意思说 就要做，马上开始做，但是还没有做。
所以mr going to do 意思是拖拖拉拉的人
不要只说不做
或者说 不要说以后再做什么的
不要做下一个 “要去做 ”先生。
不要做下一个 “我将会去做什么”先生
它的意思就是，不要做事拖拖拉拉，光想不做
别做另一个“打算去做先生”
PS Mr Going to do 是总是喜欢说，他打算去做什么，但是事实上从来也没有去做过的人
外国人说话很喜欢用比喻等。。going to do就是要去做 mr是先生。。dont be another MR going to do 就是说别再做一个mr going to do。也就是想表达别光说不做。要去做了。可是不去做。
