1.〈语〉短语,词组; 成语

2.说法,简洁的语句,警句
He was—what is the phrase I'm looking for—not intimately acquainted with his subject.
他——我该怎么说呢——对自己的课程很不熟悉.
3.乐句；乐节
及物动词 vt.
1.（以某种方式）表达,推敲叙述; 措词

及物动词 vt.& 不及物动词 vi.

前者是词组
后者是短语
短语包含词组。类似我们的字，词，句，段，篇，章。
比方说，介词短语to the door，其中the door是名词词组（此时NP=DET限定词+N.名词）。
也就是说，word group比phrase次一级比word高一级。
